Tall Vintage Old SOLID Oak Wood Wooden Windsor Style Spindle Arched Back Swivel High Bar Counter Chair Stool

Cool, vintage bar/counter chair from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It was made sometime during the 1970’s or 80’s. The chair is made of solid oak wood and retains it’s original stain and finish.

It has a “Windsor” style arched backrest with 7 turned spindles. The legs and stretchers that connect the legs have similar forms and turnings.

The seat swivels side to side and there is a spring-loaded mechanism under the seat to return the seat back to it’s original position.

Structurally, the chair is in great condition. Expect nicks and scratches, however, there are no breaks, cracks, dents, gouges, rot, or warp. The last photo shows the worst blemish we could find: a slightly chewed-on stretcher. The chair is strong, sturdy, and ready for a new home.
